Contraindications:

​

Cosmetic tattooing is not recommended for individuals who:

  • Are under the age of 18

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Are currently sick with a cold, flu, or respiratory infection (please reschedule and prioritize rest and recovery)

  • Have skin irritations such as sunburn, rash, eczema, shingles, acne, or psoriasis near the intended treatment area

  • Are prone to keloids

  • Have used Accutane within the past year

 

Precare:

In preparation for your appointment, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Avoid consuming caffeine, alcohol, Tylenol, aspirin, or any blood thinners for 24 hours before your appointment

  • Refrain from using retinol, vitamin C, AHA's, or BHA's for at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled appointment

  • Do not receive Botox within 3 weeks of your scheduled cosmetic tattooing appointment

 

Aftercare:

Following your cosmetic tattooing procedure, please observe the following aftercare instructions for optimal results:

  • Apply Aquaphor on your brows three times a day for ten days.

  • for the first three days, please blot any lymphatic fluid that accumulates on your brows, and immediately apply Aquaphor. If you let the fluid dry on your brows, it creates a scab and can pull the pigment out of your face  

  • Avoid applying makeup on the forehead or around the brow area for 10 days

  • Steer clear of sun exposure to the treated area for 2 weeks

  • Refrain from saunas or hot, steamy showers for 10 days

  • Avoid sweating or engaging in heavy exercise for 10 days

  • Resist the urge to touch, pick, or scratch the treated area

  • Diligently follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist for the best results
